Kayla, six months pregnant and grieving her grandmother’s death, boards a flight home after the funeral. Emotionally drained, she just wants to return to her husband. But soon after takeoff, a stern flight attendant asks her to follow her, then orders her to kneel. A man accuses Kayla of stealing a golden necklace, showing blurry photos of a woman who looks like her.
Kayla insists she’s innocent, pointing out that the woman in the photos has a tattoo on her wrist while she doesn’t. She places the man’s hand on her belly, proving she’s pregnant and not the suspect. Relieved, he apologizes, revealing he’s Detective Connor tracking a jewel thief. But before they can sort things out, the flight attendant suddenly pulls a gun.
She zip ties the detective’s hands, confessing that he was right about tracking her but wrong about who the thief was. Acting on instinct to protect her baby, Kayla kicks the attendant, giving the detective a chance to tackle her. The stolen necklace falls from the attendant’s neck, exposing her as the real thief. The crew alerts authorities, and the woman is arrested upon landing.
Connor apologizes, explaining that the thief had been using disguises to evade capture for months. Kayla forgives him, relieved the ordeal is over. At the arrivals gate, her husband greets her with flowers and a hug, grateful she’s safe. Back home, she recounts the terrifying flight, content to finally be in the comfort of her own home.
