For years, I treated the top of my fridge like a mini storage shelf. Extra cereal boxes, unopened snacks, even small kitchen appliances ended up there. It seemed like the perfect way to keep my counters clutter-free. But one day, something unexpected happened that changed how I looked at that space forever.
